Multiple OS in VPS Servers
If you choose to buy one of our VPS server plans, you'll be able to opt for one of the three Linux distributions which we supply for the OS of the servers - CentOS, Ubuntu and Debian. They are among the most popular and most stable server OSs out there and we offer them so that you have a choice for the software environment of your machine if you want to install some app with particular requirements in terms of the packages that should be present on the hosting server. We also offer three web hosting Control Panels and which one of them you'll be able to use will depend on the OS that you have chosen. We leave the option to change the server Operating System open, so if you want to use an application that requires an OS different from the one that's already present, we can always reinstall the VPS. We can also keep the OS up-to-date on a weekly basis by installing all of the security updates that may be available.
Multiple OS in Dedicated Servers
The dedicated server solutions that we offer come with three different Operating Systems to choose from. They are all Linux distributions - Ubuntu, CentOS and Debian, and not only do they have no license fees, but they’re also known as the most stable and risk-free OSs. We provide three different ones since each of them is backed by a different community. The packages which you can add on your web server are different and this may matter in case you want to install some piece of software with particular requirements for the hosting environment. In this light, the hosting Control Panel that you can select for the dedicated server also depends on the OS that you will select. You may choose any of the three Operating Systems throughout the order procedure, but if necessary, we can always install the server once again with a different one upon your request. As an optional service that you can add to the package any time, we can update the OS on a regular basis so as to keep it as risk-free as possible.
